It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Conditioner plus Keratin Review

This is truly a “miracle” product that transformed my hair from dry and dull to soft and shiny in just after one application!

The consistency is not liquid. It's actually a thick white conditioner that spreads easily. It is moderately scented like a shampoo which I find refreshing personally (some people do not like the smell). I apply it to my shampooed and towel-dried hair and massage it in for a good minute. You can spritz the product directly to hair but I prefer to spritz a good amount in the palm of my hand, rub my hands together, and then apply to damp hair. I feel that the product gets distributed more evenly this way. You can apply it to dry hair as well to soften the hair and add shine.

After massaging, I comb my hair to detangle, and follow with styling. I normally use a blow dryer to completely dry my hair first and then I use either a flat iron or a curling iron to style. Before I started using this product, by the end of styling, my hair would feel so dry to the touch. It would also look lifeless and frizzy. But with one application of this, my hair transforms to the best texture it has ever been — soft, smooth, shiny, conditioned and nourished. I remember not being able to stop myself from playing with my hair after the first use! :)

Since the main ingredient is keratin protein to help repair damaged hair, I'm not surprised to see that my split ends are also looking better. The key of using any hair product with keratin, though, is to use it sparingly. I normally apply just 3-4 spritz and that's already more than enough. I also only use it a couple times a week. Some people use it every day and I find that a little overkill. Too much and your hair can become brittle over time.

The best thing about this product for me is it completely eliminates static in my hair! I've been fighting with static cling throughout the Winter. I have tried hair combs/brushes and hair products that promise to get rid of the static but nothing really worked. This It's a 10 took care of it all — no more static, no more frizz, just soft, healthy-looking hair! :)

I'm so glad to have found this miracle product (I do feel like I'm the last person on earth to have tried it!). If you style your hair often like I do, this is a must-try product for you. Not only does it act as a heat protectant, it will also keep your hair in optimal condition over time. I don't find it to weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy/oily in anyway (even on the “second day hair”). It's truly a wonderful product and I strongly recommend it. :)

NEED IT! My hair is a wreck from all the dyeing……. Plus I’ve loads of static from facing the computer everyday.. Gonna add this to my list!

Can I use this before I sleep? I tend to wash my hair before I go to bed instead of leaving the house next morning.

    1. says: Jaa

Sure you can! Just make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to bed! Sleeping on wet/damp hair is a no-no because it will cause even more frizz and breakage! :)

Wow! That certainly sounds like just what the ends of my hair need! It’s a shame I’m too incredibly lazy when it comes to my hair to bother messing with a leave-in conditioner :-P I’m terrible, really…

    1. says: Jaa

Haha totally understandable! I’m only doing it to keep my hair in healthy condition because I blow dry/straighten/curl them a lot!

Hey Jaa, I am always a tiny little skeptical about miracle workers, but I checked the ingredient list and it’s actually not chock-full of silicone! Now I am definitely intrigued :)

Is the brand available in Belgium, Sunny? If so, you must try it! They have different formulas, too, including one without keratin. :D

This leave-in conditioner has been on my amazon wishlist for AGES. I’ve read a bunch of positive reviews but now that you’ve weighed in i think i’m definitely gonna buy it haha xx

Hey Sam! How have you been?! :D You should try to get a free bottle from Ulta with any $20 purchase (now through April 5th!).

Hi Jaa, i’ve been busy but good! Haven’t had much time to keep up with all the beauty blogs unfortunately so i’m trying to get my fix today haha. How are you?? Oh gosh, that’s a pretty awesome offer… I may have to check it out…

Not that I know of, Erin! Oops, actually there is silicone – “Cyclopentasiloxane”!

Water (Aqua), Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Propylene Glycol, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Keratin Amino Acids, Cyclopentasiloxane, Fragrance, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Butylene Glycol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract, Panthenol, Quaternium 80, Silk Amino Acids, Hydroxycitronellal, Benzyl Salicylate, Hydroxyisohexyl 3 Cylcohexene Carboxaldehyde, Butylphenyl Methylpropianal, Linalool, Citronellol, Limonene, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Methychloroisothiazolinone

They have one without Keratin, too, Kristen! Haven’t tried it yet because I’m loving this one too much right now! :D

How good is at protecting against heat? I use a curling iron all the time and it takes a toll on my hair. Thanks and love the writeup.

    1. says: Jaa

      Hi Julia!

I only use a styling tool (flat iron or curling iron) probably twice a week and I apply It’s A 10 before I style. I don’t know how “good” it is exactly at protecting hair against heat but from my experience, my hair feels softer, less dry, and less frizzy (compared to without). If you style more often, say 5 days a week, then I’m not sure if this alone will be enough to protect your hair from heat damage.

      Thanks for stopping by! :)

Ooooh… this looks good! Are there any ‘cones in it? Parabens too? Not that I mind but I’ve been trying to stay off these two lately after getting into dry shampoos.. :)

    1. says: Jaa

      Hi Marissa!

Yes, there is silicone in this product, Cyclopentasiloxane, as well as Methylparaben and Propylparaben. :)

I really should start looking into using dry shampoos! There are just so many of them right now and I don’t know where to start. Do you have any recommendation? :D
