Leave it to Benefit Cosmetics for the cutest packaging! The new kind of primer comes in a cute, handy little stick, much like a glue stick!
This primer is all about convenience – you basically twist up the stick, glide on the skin, and then apply foundation immediately after. No need to rub, just blend it in with your foundation. If you rub, it will ball up and that won't be pretty.
The one thing about the packaging though, the cap doesn't seem to stay shut. I've tried pressing it down hard, twisting it, or pressing and twisting (!), it still pops up. It feels like there's a vacuum pressure pushing the cap back up. So be careful if you are planning to toss this baby into a purse. I'd say cover the stick with a small clear lid it comes with first, then try to push the cap down real hard.
This primer is very light and although it looks beige on the stick, it goes on clear. To me the texture feels almost like a clear balm. You will feel a little sticky if you touch it but that's the point of it. It works like a magnet for the foundation to stick on to. I can't say it will make your makeup last 15 hours because I've only worn it from 9-5. It definitely helps my foundation stay fresh till the end of day.
This would be a perfect primer for the morning rush. Why mess with the liquid when you can achieve the same flawless result in a flash. Give this Benefit primer stick a try and you might just fall in love with it like I do. :)
