Hi Guys! Just thought I’d do a quick post today on how I remove my makeup! :)
Step 1: Eye makeup

Lancôme Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover
I first start off with eye makeup! I soak a cotton pad with this and hold it over my eyes for a few seconds then gently wipe away makeup. This remover removes pretty much everything! Be it waterproof mascara, long-wear eye liner, cream shadow, or even lipstick! It is so effective yet so gentle, and doesn’t leave any greasy feeling. Plus, it smells really nice and refreshing!

Step 2: Face makeup

Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water
Now time for face makeup! Again, I soak a cotton pad with this and gently wipe away makeup on my face starting from forehead, down the nose, cheeks, and chin. Then I flip over to the other side of the cotton pad and use the rest to clean my neck. I absolutely love how squeaky clean my face feels afterward and since it’s water-based, there’s no oily/greasy residues here! It also comes in cleansing cloths form if you want something quick and easy.

Step 3: All traces of makeup!

Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil
I run through cleansing oil like water! I used to use Shu Uemura’s but it was starting to get expensive so I was looking for a cheaper alternative and I found this one by Origins to be working just as great! It’s a little bit thicker than Shu’s and does leave skin a little oily but I always follow with my regular cleanser anyway so it doesn’t really bother me. The inconvenient part is you have to buy the pump separately!

Extra info
I usually do step 1 and 2 as soon as I get home from work and will continue to step 3 only before bed. I tend to use so many products but I have found that I’m getting less breakouts this way. And the cotton pad that I use is Shu Uemura’s Original Cotton which is the softest cotton pad I’ve ever used. It is much softer and bigger in size than Shiseido’s and I find it to be much more gentle to use on the eye area.
What about you? How do you remove your makeup? Do you use anything special?
I only use the Neutrogena Make-up Remover Wipes! http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=VP00172
They are extremely affordable (Refill pack is US$6.99) and really does wipe off every bit of make up on me! I’m a lazy person so I rarely use separate cleansing oils and removers hahaha.
That thing burns my eyes & lips!! I have no idea why! I only use it to remove makeup from arm swatches. :D
