July is coming to an end already! Didn't we just celebrate the 4th of July not long ago?! Crazy! Oh well, let's talk about something else less shocking such as what made it to the list of my favorites this month! :)
Chanel Écriture de Chanel Eyeliner Pen
I'm usually not a fan of liquid liners with a stiff felt tip but somehow I have to make an exception for this pen! The firm tip actually makes it really easy to draw sharp lines, thick or thin. It is also a breeze to create dramatic cat eye looks with just a flick of the pen! The jet black “ink” also flows smoothly and flawlessly to the tip the entire time during application without having to shake the pen every 3 seconds. I really have nothing but love for this new liquid liner from Chanel. ♥ Read my full review here.
LORAC Pro 2 Eyeshadow Palette
A beautiful sequel to my beloved LORAC Pro, this Pro 2 has been a staple in my vanity this month. I like that the palette has both neutral shades perfect for everyday office wear as well as darker/bolder/more colorful shades that I can use for a night out. I have been especially in love with the Silver and Navy combination — such the opposite end of the color spectrum but when they are together, somehow they create such a beautiful contrasting look! I have nothing but rave reviews for LORAC Pro Palettes. :) Read my full review here.
Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Summer Bronzer SPF 15
This has been a life saver product for me this summer! I use it with everything from deepening my foundation, to adding subtle radiance to my complexion, to adding warmth to my face and neck. I had always been afraid of using liquid bronzer for fear of messy application but everything changed when Carolyn introduced me to this product! The formula is such a breeze to use and blends like a dream. The pigments can be sheered out easily so it is hard to over apply! If you love bronzers, you really should give this a try! Dior Rosy Glow Healthy Glow Awakening Blush
This is the very first blush I reviewed on hellojaa.com! You can read my full review here (and I wouldn't be mad if you want to laugh at my photography skills back then! ;D). What's so special about this blush is that the barbie doll pink is a complete matte and that it “adjusts” itself to create your own customized shade according to your skin's chemistry. Pretty cool! On me, the pale pink color turns to this gorgeous flush of warm pink that I absolutely adore. So, don't be intimidated by the color in the pan, go have a swatch and I have a feeling you'll fall in love with it, too!
Fresh Sugar Tulip Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15
I know I've been raving about these Fresh Sugar lip products so much on my blog but I can't help it, I just really love them! :) My new favorite is Tulip — a sheer hot pink that looks absolutely gorgeous on. Besides the beautiful color, I also love its buttery smooth formula and lightweight feel. But the best part is the scent! The signature Fresh sweet sugary lemony scent that I can't seem to get enough of! Right now I'm giving away 2 minis of the lip treatments on my blog. If you are interested, please submit your entries here! You can read my full review of Tulip here.
And that's a wrap! I hope you find my selection interesting. Now please share with me some of your favorite products this month! :)

I’m also so in love with Armani Liquid Summer, Jaa! :) Thanks again for linking to my review, you are the sweetest! I’m testing a new foundation right now (Estee Lauder Double Wear Light) and when I looked into the mirror today, I wondered why I looked a little pale and tired. Then I realized that it’s because I wasn’t wearing Liquid Summer (since I wanted to test the true color of the foundation). Like you, Liquid Summer has been a godsend for me since I’ve become darker than usual this summer and my existing tinted moisturizer and foundation aren’t matching as well!
This month, I’ve been really into lipstick. Some favorite lippies for me this month are MAC Razzledazzler (the most flattering peach) and Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Colors in Pink Taffy and Peach Sorbet (love the colors, though the formula could be slightly more hydrating). I’m also loving Marc Jacobs eyeliners and Chanel’s Tisse Vendome eyeshadow quad! Can’t believe August is right around the corner…this year has flown by.
Oh I’d so love to hear your review on the EL Double Wear Light! Not that I need another foundation but… you know… just in case. ;D
I’m checking out your post on the MAC Razzledazzler as we speak!
Yeah, your photography skills were *soooo* terrible back then, Jaa! I don’t know how you can sleep at night!
*tries not to laugh*
…
*starts shaking with effort*
…
*face going red*
BAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! :-D
OK, sorry. :-P That was a long way of saying that your photos from the blush post look plenty awesome.
Hm, let’s see…what have I been all over this month? Probaby my growing list of ‘awesome everyday inoffensive pink lipsticks’ LOL! There’s Chanel Charme, Marc Jacobs Have We Met?, Guerlain Roselip, Laura Mercier Antique Pink, Bloom Tangerine, Revlon Demure… I have kind of a constant rotation going on, and that’s not even counting the glosses that fit into a similar category… ;-)
Yeah… I suppose the photos aren’t too bad but the angles are definitely bad. LOL. Hard to believe you’re into everyday pink lips now!!! What happens to always coral! ;D I’m lemming the MJ Have We Met? myself and am thinking of picking it up this Sunday during the Sephora event!
LOL, don’t worry, the corals are still there ;-) i think it’s because we’re in winter, I start to turn to pinks more!
As for Have We Met : do iiiiiit :-D
Sometimes I wonder … why is it that we tend to gravitate towards pink during winter and coral during summer… do you know why?
What photography skill are we talking about?! you were damn good even then! :D I really want to try the Dior blush now that both you and Sunny have raved so much! But I have a ton of blushes already.. still nothing like that one!
Another one wouldn’t hurt! Try it! ;D
Hi Jaa,
The photos look perfect to me for the Dior Rosy Glow:) You have talked me into too many blushes. Which one would you get if you can only get one blush between TF love lust and Dior Rosy Glow?
Thanks x
Oh man that’s a hard question, Grace! I don’t think I can choose! I love them both equally. Get both!! ;D
Aw man, I am so all over that LORAC palette! If it were more easily available here I’d already have it.
It will be included in my upcoming giveaway! Don’t forget to enter! ;D
I must give the Chanel liner a go ASAP! I swatched it yesterday and it seems really promising!
Do it do it! I’m anxious to read your review! :)
You have such ahhMAZING Favorites Jaa:)) the lip balm looks very tempting.
Tulip is all kinds of awesome!!! ;D
I keep seeing posts about Lorac Pro 2, but I have too many neutral palettes as is. Curse my love of neutrals! :P
Haha we can never have enough neutral palettes!!! ;D ;D ;D
Gosh Jaa
I want that chanel liquid pen ,dior blush and sugar tulip balm
and for my luck all three are not available in my country
so let me dream for now ;)
and what Jaa ,ur photography skill was damn good even then :)
Haha. Maybe that’s a good thing, Krithi! Save yourself lots of $$$!!
Oddly enough, I didn’t like the Tulip shade! It barely showed up on me at all. My mom said it changed the tone of my lips a little but it didn’t feel as moisturizing. We both noticed it didn’t wear as evenly as the berry, rose, or coral. Needless to say we did some serious testing at the Nordstrom Cafe :)
Hah that’s weird that Tulip doesn’t show up on you since it shows up so well on my pigmented lips! Coral is next on my list! :)
Whoa – this Armani Liquid Summer is such a brilliant idea!! I always buy a darker foundation for the summer but this product would mean my regular foundation would work year-round! Kisses to you and Carolyn! :*
And yes! July was gone in a flash!
Yep! The Liquid Summer is a godsend, just like Carolyn said! I don’t have to worry about my foundation not matching my current skin tone anymore. Do give it a try when you get a chance! :D
Heading to your blog right now!!! I love reading your posts!! <3
