Are you a Rouge? Did you get up in time this morning to attend the VIB Rouge Spring Social? :)
I went. And the event was actually enjoyable. There was a store associate at the entrance to welcome you and check you in. Inside the store, there were coffee, water (in a mini size bottle with a red Sephora VIB Rouge label), and baked goods provided. I didn’t fill my basket to the brim but I did pick up quite a few items. :)
The highlight of the store visit for me is, of course, the limited edition cosmetic bag! From the picture in the Sephora email I thought the material of the bag would be some sort of plastic/PVC but it’s actually canvas. It’s a really cute bag with black and white stripes, red vinyl zipper pull and logo, and gold zipper. The bag is on the smaller side but you can still pack quite a bit in there.
The one-time use samples include:
- Algenist with Alguronic Acid Multi-Perfecting Pore Corrector Gel Moisturizer
- Wei Royal Ming Firming and Hydrating Cream
- Perfekt Skin Perfection Gel
- Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer

Besides the samples provided in the bag, I was also given another Sephora drawstring bag filled with fragrance samples that include:

We do have the points system here, but no in levels like BI/ VIB/ Rouge.. The only upside is that we get 10% off for every 250 points we have collected for our next purchase..
The canvas cosmetic pouch looks really sturdy! Great for summer getaways I would think? Very nautical-ish haha.

Yup 1 point per 1 dollar! :-) But our prices are already marked up by about 10%-20% soooo, doesn’t make any difference.. Plus we get stuff SOOOOO slow.. We’re just getting MbMJ! Wth man hahaha.
BTW I finally got the package! Thank you thank you thank you thank you so much.. I tried the NAKED Loose Powder and it’s amazing… I’ll never stop using it. It’s soooo soft…… Also thank you a jillion for including that special somethin’ somethin’ in it!! I’ve NEVER tried lip colours like that before and I really need to thank you for getting me the Bite Lip Duo!!! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Thanks for posting! I am a little disappointed though – while the bag is cute, it would have been nice if they put in some deluxe size samples rather than just little packets. (I almost inevitably throw those out.). I guess I won’t be rushing to get the VIB version on Thursday!
I completely agree with you here, Jacqueline! Deluxe samples would have been so much better! Remember a few years back when they gave us a whole box full of deluxe samples from so many brands? I think it was back in 2011/2012. The sample box was a Sephora round box with a lid. That was the best box of samples ever in my opinion. Now, it’s just foil packets. LOL!
The bag is so cute! I like it when they’re canvas, or some more sturdy material :-) I have to admit, since I heard that VIB rouge is a pretty expensive club to join, I was kind of expecting mini-size samples of things, maybe some full, not one use sachets!
I mean, we don’t have sephora, and the little bag is great, but it kinda surprised me!
I was just talking about this with Jacqueline (see above comment)! Having spent more than 1k a year, I expect a little more than foil sample packets. :(
But the bag is cute, no complaints there. :)
