Make Up For Ever
Smoky Extravagant Mascara
This mascara feels heavy and semi-dry but surprisingly it works so well on my short and sparse lashes! It is layerable without being clumpy as long as you coat your lashes very slowly from root to tip. It stays put and does not flake off or smudge on me at all. The Christmas tree-like wand is quite unique, too. The tip reaches those tiny corner lashes perfectly!

Estée Lauder
Nutritious Radiant Vitality 2-in-1 Foam Cleanser
This cleanser works as a traditional face cleanser as well as a deeply purifying mask (if you leave it on for 2 minutes). I like the texture alright; it’s quite thick and creamy but it quickly foams into a soothing, moisture-rich lather. I love the refreshing, non-overpowering scent and the squeaky clean feeling after the wash but it tends to leave my skin a little tight.

Caudalie
Make-Up Remover Cleansing Water
This was a spur-of-the-moment purchase and I’m so glad I decided to try it! It may not remove waterproof makeup as effectively as my long-time favorite Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water (review) but for minimal makeup, it works perfectly fine! And I love the clean and refreshing scent so much! It doesn’t strip my skin, either, and that’s always a big plus for me.

Yes!

I’ve yet to open my MUFE mascara sample! I have a thing about finishing mascaras before opening new tubes lol. I’m excited to hear that it works well for you!
I love Caudalie scents :)
I wish my willpower were as strong! I’m always too curious to try new things! I’m so impatient! Haha.
The Caudalie cleansing water sounds so nice! I tried the MUFE mascara and unfortunately it did nothing for me, but I’m glad it worked so well for your lashes! :)
Aww I’m sorry to hear! I hope at least you tried the sample version that you got for free! ;)
I’m glad to hear you like the Caudalie micellar water! So you know what, I remembered it wrong LOL I looked for a review on my own blog, and I realized I actually did like it :p I only tried a small bottle (of the old version. I’m not sure if they repackaged or reformulated) though, never the big one. I must have confused it with the Nuxe one in my head, which is a no-go if you ask me. I have a lot of micellar water sitting around, but when I’m done with them, I’ll give the Caudalie one a go!
That’s what I thought! When I was testing it, I tried to find something that would explain why you didn’t like it but I couldn’t come up with anything! Now that explains! :D
I had tried the Caudalie one a year ago. Compared to Bioderma it was efficient but slow. I needed a lot more product to remove makeup. I did like the scent though!
Yeah, the scent is divine! :) I still have not tried the Bioderma one! What’s wrong with me?! -__-“
Thanks for the mini review of the Caudalie Cleansing Water – I’ve been curious about that!
You’re most welcome, Kristen! Hope you do give it a try some day! :)
I’d been curious about the Caudalie! Nice to know it handles everyday makeup.
It does, and it does very well, too, Erin! :)
Oooh, good to hear about the MUFE mascara! The original smoky lash and waterproof version both smudged badly on me, so I ended up giving this sample away. Maybe I could ask for it back, LOL!
LOL it’s probably too old and gone bad by now! ;D
Ooh, the cleansing water and the mascara sound so nice! I’m always doing a variety of (facial) gymnastics to try and get the little inner lashes without making a giant black dot on the side of my nose or in my eyeliner,…but usually I just end up with the giant black dot and ruined eyeliner T_T #DEXfail
Part of the problem is that even if the wand is small enough, the tip comes out of the jar with a huge blob of mascara on it. I know you can just wipe it off, but it feels so wasteful, so I try to use it anyway. Thereby proving that I am one of the most irrational rogues on the planet, probably, LOL!
One good thing about having a low nasal bridge — the mascara wand never hits the side of my nose. LOL. I feel your pain, though! Wiping it off seems wasteful to me as well. But if you think about it, everything will probably dry up soon before you even use up the tube anyway! Might as well wipe it off a bit here and there to get good results! ;D
I like to MUFE mascara
Yay! :)
