Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation
I’ve been meaning to try this foundation for so long! So glad I finally got a sample of it in a shade called ‘I’m Plush and Precious’ Petal which luckily matches my current skin tone perfectly! It has a buildable light-to-medium coverage and leaves a very skin-like dewy finish. An added SPF (25) is always a welcome bonus!

Smashbox
Photo Finish Foundation Primer Pore Minimizing
The texture and color of this primer are very similar to the Benefit POREfessional, only it is much more slippery (due to the high silicone content). It makes my skin so soft, matte, and smooth afterwards. Lightweight, fast-absorbing, and true to its name, enlarged pores are significantly minimized. Good stuff!

Fresh
Soy Conditioning Eye Makeup Remover
It has an interesting texture for an eye makeup remover. It feels like a lightweight lotion that you dispense through a pump onto a cotton round. The refreshing scent of cucumber is divine. It leaves the skin soft and moisturized but it doesn’t do well at removing waterproof makeup. For everyday light makeup, it is a great remover.
Full-sized purchase?
Possibly!

The Benefit foundation sounds promising! I remember reading good reviews when it first came out. The Fresh remover is probably a pass for me. Since I use a lash primer, even when I’m not wearing a waterproof mascara, I tend to use a bi-phase just to speed up the process!
Yeah, dual-phase removers all the way for me, too!
I liked the Benefit foundation when I tried a sample of it. The colours weren’t for me though. Only bad thing about it.
Aww that’s just too bad! :( They definitely need to expand the shade range for sure!
The Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow has been on my to try list for a long time! I’m excited to hear it’s worked well enough for you to merit a yes, definitely response! The Fresh remover sounds pretty intriguing. I LOVE the smell of cucumbers like you wouldn’t believe, LOL/555! :)
I’m so glad Sephora is giving out samples and now I know for sure that I really like it and want to buy the full size! I can’t believe how smooth and even my skin looks with this foundation and even more so when used in combination with the Hello Flawless Powder! A total power duo!!!
I’m glad you remember the “555”!!!!!! :D :D :D
I am really liking this series, that way you can review products which you wouldn’t normally get and you don’t have to spend extra for them. Great idea indeed. I would love to try the Benefit foundation too.
I’m glad this series is becoming a hit among my readers! :) It’s super fun to do and as you said, allows me to review products that I wouldn’t buy otherwise. The Benefit foundation is some good stuff, I tell ya! :D
I need to get my hands on a sample of that Smashbox primer!
I knew you’d love the Smashbox primer!!! You’re like the biggest Smashbox fan!!! ;D
I wish foundation samples came in my colour, LOL! You’re lucky! I guess their market research didn’t turn up ‘rogue vampires’ or ‘vampire rogue’ or anything… *sigh* :-P doesn’t stop me from totally wanting that YSL foundation sample that Sephora have at the moment though! :-D
YSL foundation samples – they are only giving out 3 shades, though. I have all 3 of them and trust me, none will match your skin tone. I’m sorry but hey, I’m saving you a Sephora order. Haha.
I’ve seen mixed reviews on the Benefit foundation for dry skin! I’ll be interested to hear your review!
Oh really? Well, I will have to try it in winter and see! My skin gets pretty dry in colder months so that would be a good time to test it!
Jaa, I’m really loving this series! The Benefit foundation sounds good – I’ve been looking into the Perricone makeup line, and they have a foundation serum that seems similar!
Yay! Thanks so much, Kira! ❤❤ I have never tried any Perricone makeup but the foundation “serum” sounds interesting! Please keep me posted if you ever review it! :)
The Benefit foundation sounds good! So exciting that the color match was perfect for you :). I’m loving how many good foundations have been released lately!
I’m loving it and at the same time not really loving it! Haha. Like, I wanna try everything but I only have one face!!!! First world problem much?! Haha.
I heard benefit hellow flawless foundation is best for oily skin
From the look of it, you may be right, Krithi!
Hey Jaa thank you so much for doing these mini reviews, I find it very helpful. The benefit foundation has caught my attention will be surely asking for a sample next time.
I’m glad to hear you find this series helpful, Fiona! Definitely get a sample of the foundation! I’m pretty sure you’ll love it, too! :)
