You think I would forget the monthly Favorites post! Not a chance! Two days late is still better than never right? :D
Laura Mercier Artist Eyeshadow Palette
African Violet has to be one of the prettiest shimmery eyeshadows I’ve ever seen. It’s such a unique color and the way it reflects light? Stunning. The palette has a good mix of matte, satin, and luster finishes and the colors were hand-selected by Laura Mercier to include shades appropriate for both daytime and nighttime wear. I’m not too crazy about the price but I’ve gotta admit — this is one versatile palette! Click here to read my full review.
theBalm Cindy-Lou Manizer Highlighter, Shadow & Shimmer
A peachy pink highlighter that turns a beautiful shade of rose gold on my complexion! It applies with such a gorgeous soft pink sheen that I can’t help but wearing it religiously this month. The subtle pink, together with the soft shimmery effect imparts a healthy, natural-looking glow that lasts for hours. I have a comparison swatch with Mary-Lou Manizer and Betty-Lou Manizer on this page. :)
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure
Mood Exposure is what you would describe as an “everyday nude” color. It looks rather “plain” in the pan but once applied onto the skin, it becomes a mixed shade of bronze and dusty rose — very pretty. It doubles as a blush and a soft contouring powder on my skin. I also like that Mood Exposure is a “neutral” color that compliments any makeup look I wear. I have already acquired two more shades (Dim Infusion and Diffused Heat) since my last review and I can’t wait to share my thoughts with you! :)
Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
Lightweight. Great coverage. Excellent match. Extremely natural. Gorgeous packaging. Affordable. Seriously, there is nothing not to love about this loose powder! I’ve been wearing it non-stop with my new favorite foundation — Make Up For Ever Face & Body and let me tell you, the power duo makes my skin look so smooth and radiant! In fact, I have never seen my skin look this good in ages! Even my boyfriend noticed (and this guy hardly ever notices anything so that says a lot!). Tarte Collector’s Edition Super Size Pure Maracuja Oil
I can’t rave enough about this Maracuja oil! I honestly believe it’s the one product that has been keeping my skin in check this Winter. You know how frustrating it is to apply makeup on dry, troubled skin. With a few drops of this oil on the face every night before bed, my skin has become in such good condition that I’m not afraid to apply (play) with makeup again. It keeps my skin moisturized, supple, and most importantly, acne-free. I love it so much that I had to buy the Collector’s Edition Super Size version! :) Click here to read my review.

Are you still shopping the Sephora 15% off sale (VIB Rouge)? If you are a VIB/BI, are you looking forward to the sale starting tomorrow (or Friday for BI’s)? I may or may not have already bought a little more than I originally allowed myself to, but it’s so hard to control yourself when there are literally thousands of new things that you want to try! :)

Nice picks, I received my LM Palette too and enjoying it. I liked the one from holiday just a tad better but this one is nice as well.Africal Violet is really nice. Too bad Hourglass Blushes didn’t awe me that much, I keep saying I should give these another chance, with another brush maybe, lol.
I’m still kicking myself for not getting the Holiday version! :(
Sorry to hear about the Hourglass blushes! What shade did you get? I really love Mood Exposure and Radiant Magenta but I haven’t tried the Dim Infusion and Diffused Heat that I just bought yet. I don’t know what to expect but hopefully I’ll like them, too! :)
Oh gods, I want that LM palette SO BADLY. Unfortunately, LM doesn’t exist here ;-) Envious!
I also really want to try the Naked Skin finishing powder, but I’m worried that the lightest shade won’t be light/cool enough – it looks so dark (for me) on the website!
Hey Syl, I really love the UD Naked Skin loose powder! Naked Light (lightest shade) is pretty light when I saw it in person but I can understand why you’re afraid it would still be too dark for really fair skin. Usually company’s photos are not very accurate so I’d go have a swatch in person if I can. You have UD in New Zealand, right? Give it a try! I think you’ll really like it! :D
I actually just got a sample of both the Tarte Oil and the eye cream. I really like the eye cream so far but I’ve only used it twice!
Yay, I’m still testing the eye cream as well. So far I like!
I want Mood Exposure so bad ever since I saw your review post! It sold out at Sephora.com in nano secs. I even trucked it to my local Sephora store and EVERY SINGLE SHADE except the lightest one that everyone says doesn’t show up on them was GONE. D: -boo Can’t wait for it to get restocked because I know it’s going to be an HG blush for me! Sometimes you just KNOW, right?! Have you ever tangoed with Benefit Dallas?! You should swatch it some time. I bought it recently and it’s full on true love. I use it as a blush, it’s mauvey/bronzey and a lot of folks use it as a bronzer, but I think it looks amazeballs as a blush. I think it would be bellisima on your face!
Mood Exposure is gorgeous, Kristen! i hope you get your hands on it soon!!!
I think Dallas is the only shade of Benefit blushes that I don’t have! I swatched it and thought it was a little too dark, but hey, if it’s a true love for you, I’ll rethink about it!
