OK, stop it, I said stop it! You just put a gazillion more things on my wish list! I am eagerly awaiting the new Dior foundation. I was in the store the other day when I overheard they got ONE little sample tube of the thing. I practically forced the lady to squeeze some on the back of my hand LOL

It’s got amazing coverage and the texture feels light. I’ve never tried a Dior foundation though (I don’t know how that happened), so it remains to be seen if I can find a good match.

LOL the poor lady!!!! I can just imagine the scene! Hahaha. That’s good to hear it has good coverage and feels light! I’m going to wait until I can get matched in person, though. Dior’s foundation color range is a little strange as I can never seem to find a “perfect” match for my skin.

Just reading both comments: want to try this as well but also have never been a big Dior foundation person. The colour range is weird and seems to take this giant leap from shades in the 20 range to the 30 range. Beige 30 is really quite dark… well into the Medium range. I wore it in the Capture formula a dozen or so years ago after I had been in Greece for two months and I was unbelievably tanned… I’m thinking I’m probably more of a 21 Linen and it seems to be what Sephora colour IQ system is generating in Dior for me. So many foundations coming out this month and next…sigh!

Oh I’m glad I’m not the only one! Dior really needs to expand their foundation shade range! If I can’t find a match, I’ll definitely move on to the Tom Ford Traceless foundation! :D

So many exciting new products, Jaa! The Dior Star foundation definitely sounds intriguing, and I can’t wait to check out the NARS Audacious lipsticks (I have a mini-list based on Temptalia’s reviews!). Also, the KissKiss packaging looks so luxurious!

Soooo many new and exciting products. My head hurts trying to decide which one to get. LOL. I have to get at least one Nars Audacious lipstick, though!

Well…I have Givenchy palette and the Guerlain KissKiss lipstick and disappointed both. Now I am waiting for Guerlain Ecrin 4 Couleurs (same one in your picture) arrived, will see if it will be the 2nd thing I don’t like for Guerlain or not. Anyway you might like them, please try and let us know your feeling. Tom Ford foundation is in my wishlist too but I need to use my 5 pieces from Guerlain first.

Hi Nongnou! Sorry to hear that both items didn’t live up to your expectations! Do you mind sharing with us why you didn’t like them? I placed an order for the Guerlain Les Violines last week. Hopefully it will be a happy purchase! :)

        Here is what I don’t like…

It is too powdery for Givenchy’s eyeshadow (falling down to cheek when applying) and I find out it is too shimmy also. But if you are a fan or like shimmer, this palette will be good for you. I didn’t expect much for the lipstick in the palette so cannot comment on it, it is just fair.

For Guerlain, I am a fan of this brand for very long time and addict to Rouge G versions even though some versions of them have shimmer in there, they are still fine, doing great on lip, and not affect to longevity, pigment, and texture. But this KissKiss series are not longevity, if rouge g can do 6 hours for you, this one can do only 2-3 hours. The pigment is poor, I need to apply over and over again to get the same color as it should be. And the last thing is its texture, it doesn’t make me feeling smooth when applying it. Only one thing that is good as expect is moisturizing, it does well as same as other series.

Anyway this is my opinion and experience only. You may love them.

Thank you for your input, Nongnou! That is such a shame that the KissKiss lipstick falls short in the longevity department! I would never have guessed that considering it’s a Guerlain lipstick! Guess I’ll just have to take a close look in person before I make my purchase! :)

Hi Jaa, I love reading your ‘on my radar’ posts. There are always so many nice picks. I know I can’t have them all but just by looking at them give me so much joy:) I am always keen on a good foundation. Both Dior and TF sound promising. I will have to check out the Dior one very soon x

    1. says: Jaa

Same here, Grace! I wish I had enough funds to buy everything! -__-” I’m really leaning towards the Dior foundation more at the moment; I will probably splurge on it if I can find a match! :)

Ok now that Givenchy Palette and Bobbi Brown Lipstick are on my wishlist too…thanks for enabling Jaa. I love the format for these posts!

Those Guerlain and NARS lipsticks are totally all over my radar too. I have to keep wiping them off so I can see the blip. Do you know how hard it is to wipe lipstick off glass? The squadron leader was not impressed.

    OK, I’ll stop now :-P

Aren’t those Guerlain palettes (and that Givenchy one, let’s be honest), just too beautiful for their own good?

    1. says: Jaa

No, actually I do not know how hard it is to wipe lipstick off glass! Can’t you just spray the makeup remover over it or wipe with a makeup remover wipe? LOL. Then follow with a windex, always! ;D

The Guerlain palette is soooooooooooo dreamy in person. ❤❤❤
