Hi everyone! I just got back from the Sephora VIB Rouge Reception and I thought I would share with you pictures of the content of the free cosmetic bag as well as the VIB Rouge tote! The cosmetic bag

The tote is a nice size and has long handles that you can carry as a shoulder bag. Love the red! :)

Sephora + Pantone Color IQ match
I finally had my skin matched! My Color IQ Number is 4Y08!
Here’s what you can do with the number:
- Go to the http://www.sephora.com/color-iq page and enter your number
- Click the GO button and a list of foundations that match your skin tone will be displayed on the next page
I would say the result is not 100% accurate! My perfect match for the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation is Punjab but my Color IQ number suggested Stromboli instead, which is quite a few shades darker than my skin tone. I suppose you can use this information as a guideline to selecting your closest match but I would not completely rely on it. :)
Well, that’s it! I hope you enjoyed my (super small) coverage of the event. I bought a couple things for myself and my friend — nothing too crazy. I usually prefer to shop online because I like those deluxe samples that come with online orders better.

The whole event was quite fun! I had to stop myself from buying like crazy!!! ^_^
I wasn’t too interested in going but sort of changed my mind on Thursday I believe, but by then the stores near me had already met capacity! Oh well. I prefer shopping online for the same reason as you!
Oh no! :( Well, hopefully there will be one again soon! Have you seen the new “once-in-a-lifetime rewards” for 1k, 5k, and 10k points?? OMG WHO HAS 10k points I need to see it!!! LOL. Pretty sweet deal, though, as I love SF!!!

I really like Blinc for lower lash mascara… it’s the best tubing one out there I think. Though to be fair I haven’t tried more then like 3 :)
Oh I have to try it on my lower lash then! Oh wait, my lower lashes are non-existent!! T_T

That must have been one heck of an event! :-) I remember getting a tote and lot of samples with it last summer from Sephora and some of it I still have!

Call me greedy, but for the amount you have to spend to get VIB Rouge status, I wish they’d give you more than just little samples, LOL :-P Mind you, I’m not VIB Rouge, and we don’t even have Sephora here, so my comments may be a little moot ;-)
That being said, it is nice that they have a little reception with drinks and nibbles and all!

I’m also NARS Punjab, Jaa! :) I didn’t go to the morning event — instead, I stopped by in the afternoon and they were still giving away sample bags, luckily! I’m not such a morning person and don’t really enjoy crowds, so going in the afternoon was it for me. And, like you, I prefer shopping online!
Lucky you! There were only a few people at my store when I went and I didn’t stay very long — pheww — not sure if I’d like the crowds, either!
